What's all this then?
Storm Petrel Arts is a project in its infancy, a work in progress...
The idea emerged after a couple of work colleagues talked about co-creating a novel.
It had been the passion and dream of one of them to create a work of fiction based on the turbulent adventures of a young man in the 1990โs, and his experiences of trying to make it in the music business.
It was the passion and dream of the other, simply to write. (And eat cake all day but thatโs less relevant to this storyโฆ)
And so the collaboration began...
But it's not enough just to write a novel...
The challenges of writing a work of fiction collaboratively are huge!
So, (we thought) why not document the process of doing it?
Share the twists, turns and adventures involved in taking one person's ideas and transforming them into a cracking story that both of us are proud of.
And see if we can inspire others to be creative too...
